I have a future

I was doing a Bible study with a group of young men and women, I asked them to write a list of some of their dreams. They found it really difficult and almost all of them came up with only three things on their list. No one had a dream about a specific career, they just hoped to find a job. Living here, I realized that poverty steals your ability to dream and and most people live to survive. I try to imagine growing up not being able to dream and to live out those dreams.

One of the things we want the children to know is that they can dream and that they must dream, because through Jesus all things are possible. We want them to know that one day they will have a future and that their lives will make a change within the community they live.
We have a future

  1. Great to instill the idea of God giving dreams to these kids Piet. Dreams and visions, hope and a future.
