Adopt

Last week a young couple came to our home, wanting to adopt one of the children. This is one of the most amazing moments for me when someone wants to adopt a child and then love them as there own. They fell in love with little Lola and they started the process of adoption with The Department of Social Welfare. I always say Lola is a little diamond in the rough and I know this couple will make her shine. It is always hard for us to say goodbye to a child when they leave with their new parents, but in our hearts we know how much this will change the life of that child. Saturday morning the couple came to visit and play with Lola. We recommended that they do this so that Lola could get to know them. The brought her small gifts and some candy. It was so beautiful to see Lola connect with them and starting to laugh with them. To see the new found joy in her heart and for her to know she is loved, that she is precious.
