Living Church
Many believers believe church is a two hour meeting on a Sunday morning, singing some songs and listening to a sermon. The Sunday morning meeting is a important part of church live, but I do not think it is church. I love reading Acts and to learn about the early church. I came to realize that we are church everywhere we meet in the name of Jesus there He is present. So we can have church in our family living room eating a meal together or at work sharing about Jesus. Our lives is change through the grace of God and we should be living as church everyday. Church is not a place we go to, it is something we bring through the presence of the Holy Spirit with us. Church is about sharing meals together, listening to the scriptures, communion and praying together as a community that loves and care for one another. It is to know the needs of one another and to help with those needs. To serve and to care for the orphan and the widow. Church is not about what we can receive, but what we can give. Each one of us has so much we can give through the love of Jesus within us.
