Unconditional Love

Tuesday afternoons Rika and Leonor reach out to a local hospital. They take gifts for the mothers of the new born babies. They get to pray for mothers before they give birth, after they give birth and on Tuesday Rika prayed with a woman busy giving birth. Rika comes back from these outreaches filled with joy and refreshed by the Holy Spirit. Jesus opened the door to this government hospital where prayer and the name of Jesus is not allowed.

Some Tuesday's Rika find woman that have aborted their children or some that are waiting to abort. So as a new life begins another that was suppose to begin is ended. What do we do in this situation, a mother to be, waiting to end the life of an unborn baby? The very nature of us want to condemn and judge that person. We want to tell her she is a murderer and that she will end up in hell. We will quote various scriptures and make her understand how terrible she is. Rika and Leonor was lead by Jesus to love them. To pray with them and for them to experience maybe for the first time unconditional love and not condemnation.

Jesus did not come and die so that we can follow a new set of rules. Jesus came so that through grace we can have a relationship with His Father. We are the sons and daughters of the Living King, not because of what we do, but of who we are in Jesus. (Woman are welcome to join Rika on Tuesday afternoons to go with to the hospital)
