Praying with Hawa |
Acts 1:14, " They all joined together constantly in prayer." We read in Acts that the believers joined together often and I love the word often, it was not something that they did once in a while, but they did it regularly. We then read that when they joined together that they prayed together. In Acts 2:42 we read " They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer". The early church devoted themselves to gathering every night, to fellowship, listen to the teaching of the apostles, eating together and prayer. The next verse tell us that everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs that the apostles performed. The Holy Spirit moves in power when His church devotes themselves to fellowship, hearing His Word, eating together and prayer. I have been challenged by Jesus to spend more time in Fellowship and prayer. I believe God is calling us into a time of prayer and a time of fellowship around His Word. I want to invite you on this journey as we seek the Face of Jesus in prayer. Tomorrow night we will have a half night of prayer at our home in Matola. It will be a time of fellowship and prayer. Please join us where ever you are in prayer and if it is possible you are welcome to come and join as at our home.
Here are some of the things we will be praying for:
We will be praying for each of the children Jesus brought to us. We will pray for their future and that they will experience the love and presence of Jesus everyday. Please let us know if you want to pray for a specific child or children.
We will also pray for our staff and that they will grow in their relationship with Jesus and that His love will flow through them.
Please pray with us for Casa Gemma, pray that it will be home for the children that goes and live there. That it will be a place for them to experience Jesus and that it will be a place of comfort and healing. We also want to pray for the community of Casa Gemma and that we will be able to serve them in a meaningful way.
Please pray for us a s family, for more of His presence in our life.
We also want you to pray for direction. If you have any Words for us let us know.
Thank you so much for joining with us in prayer.
